.jpg) For summer ’08 our Lead Artist & Educator, Helen Andersson has created a look that incorporates current trends with a new summer twist that says “eye exist!”
Start with the best summer base: Tinted Mineral Moisturizer. Its light and allows your skin to breathe in the heat, while providing a healthy glow and crucial SPF protection.
Smokey eyes are still striking and sultry, but lighter and brighter with shimmering chocolate, bronze and gold tones. Use Brun Gel Eyeliner, Pearl Eye Shadow #29 and #37 and a touch of White Eye Pencil in the inner corner.
Strengthen and define the brow with Myrrah Brow Shadow.
The cheeks and lips are an opportunity to go girly with summer’s favorite bright — fuchsia! New York Crème Blush and Smile Lipstick add that fresh pop of tropical pink. For a more subtle lip try Anne Marie Pencil paired with Njuta Lipstick.
Either way, you’re sure to be a bathing beauty!
FACE Stockholm Makeup School comes to America!
We are very excited to be finally realizing our dream of opening our first FACE Stockholm Makeup School in the United States at our newest boutique in the beautiful Hudson River Valley town of Rhinebeck, New York!
For many years, we have operated our own Makeup Schools and Studios in Sweden and Norway, offering world-class professional makeup training and services. Our schools have trained some of the most talented makeup artists in all of Scandinavia and Europe.
With our experience and heritage from Sweden and the respect of so many in our industry stateside, it seems a natural progression for us do a school here in the US. And our beautiful, spacious store in Rhinebeck is the perfect location.
Taught by FACE Stockholm’s Lead Makeup Artist and Educator our first course offering begins in June 2008. This core training program offers a unique, comprehensive program taught over a five-week period this spring designed for novices who seek to launch a new career in makeup and cosmetics as well as working professionals who seek to enhance their skills and knowledge.
